Why this trip
Three nights is the minimum it makes sense to fly to Zanzibar. Less than that and the transfer time eats too much of the holiday. This package is structured as a post-safari coda — the right length to decompress after a week of early game-drive mornings.
We use Nungwi by default (northern tip, sunset side, lively in the evenings) or Matemwe (north-east, quieter, best snorkelling). Tell us which you prefer when you book.
What's not included
We do not bundle excursions. The Zanzibar excursion market is well-served by local operators at fair prices; locking you into a pre-paid schedule costs more and gives you less choice. Your camp will help arrange snorkelling on Mnemba (around USD 80 per person), the standard spice farm tour (around USD 40), or a sunset dhow cruise (around USD 50). Pay locally.
On the food
Breakfast is included; lunch and dinner are not. Most beach lodges have decent restaurants but no obligation to eat there — Nungwi village has half a dozen good seafood places, and the lodge can arrange a tuk-tuk into town. Restaurant dinner is USD 15-25 per person.
