What happens nextHow planning a Tanzania safari with Savunda works.
Your enquiry lands directly in a guide's inbox in Arusha— no sales team, no offshore call centre. Inside 24 working hours we reply with two or three real Tanzania safari itinerary sketches and a real price band, written against your actual dates, party size and priorities. From there we refine over a few emails or a short video call until you have a trip you'd like to book.

If you'd rather read first, see the five signature itineraries we run from 3 to 14 days, the destinations guide for the five parks we work in, or the cost calculator to anchor a budget. Pair any safari with a Kilimanjaro climb or a Zanzibar week and we'll handle the in-country flights.
Questions before you enquire
- How long does it take to get a reply?
- Inside 24 working hours, every time. Most enquiries come back the same day during Arusha working hours (07:00–20:00 EAT). Overnight enquiries get an answer before lunch the next day.
- Will you actually write a custom itinerary or just send a template?
- A real, custom draft. We don't reuse templates. The reply you get is two or three rough sketches sized to your dates, party and priorities — written by one of the four guides, not a sales agent.
- Do I have to pay anything to receive a quote?
- No. Quotes and itinerary planning are free. We only ask for a 25% deposit once you've decided to book a specific trip on specific dates. There is no freemium funnel.
- Can we have a video call before I commit?
- Yes — a free 20-minute video call is part of the standard process before any deposit. We'll send a calendar link in the first email reply. Most travellers take us up on it.
